Rotimi For AKOO Clothing

Remember when we told you that AKOO Clothing co-founder, rapper T.I. is trying out a new acting role in the series “BOSS”? Well, he didn’t spend too much time scouting for new talent to represent his clothing brand and we are pleased to introduce to you, SoJones readers: Rotimi, the 2012 brand ambassador for AKOO Clothing. Rotimi oozes the mysterious allure and boyish charm of his on-screen alter ego to depict AKOO’s Spring/Summer theme of “effortless cool”. Rolling Out Magazine has dubbed him “Hollywood’s Next Triple Threat” as the actor, singer/song writer and model is in the lead of changing the game. Not just that, BET.com also dubbed him “The Jack of All Trades”

Jeff Belizaire, Director of Marketing & Public Relations of AKOO Clothing said that Rotimi is perfect for this season’s campaign:

“Rotimi is the perfect choice for this season’s campaign. He is a rare talent who embodies AKOO’s mantra of self mastery as he continuously strives for excellence in his artistry.”

Aside from starring in “BOSS”, Rotimi is also active in pursuing his music career with recent projects like “The Resume” and “While You Wait”. Although he’s somewhat ‘new’, his music credits include performances alongside huge names such as Jennifer Hudson, T.I., Estelle and NERD. T.I. is also very excited about Rotimi joining the AKOO family:

“I’m very excited about working with our new brand ambassador @Rotimi. The young man has a bright future and I am proud to be connected to his growing success. Its young men like him who I had in mind when creating AKOO.”
