Her father, now deceased, was the Chief Commandant of the Angolan police force and her mother is an interior decorator for hotels in Angola. She moved to South Africa in 1994, and was sent to boarding school in Dominican Convent School where she completed her junior high and high school.

She always did exceptionally well in school, never failed a single grade even though she arrived in South Africa without speaking a single word in English and without taking an English course before starting school. During her years in Dominican Convent School she received a series of awards for academics and sports. She was the first Angolan in her school to be elected prefect, she was a house leader and was involved in the school's RCL. She was always interactive in class, always willing to help her peers wherever she could, very confident and outspoken. She surprised her teachers with her ability to learn English so fast, and was many times called to do translations in school.

She completed her matric, has an International Diploma in Business, and is currently doing the last year of her Marketing Degree. Having grown up on Christian values, she has good morals and is very opinionated; she has her own ideas and always presents them in a logical manner.

Her ability to speak fluent English and Portuguese helped her with her biggest achievement by far which was being chosen as the presenter for the show "Top Mais" on channel 0.

Weza's ability to interact with people of different cultures, race and social position allows her to be a very easy person to communicate with. Her easygoing and outgoing personality makes her very pleasant to be around. She has very clear ideas on what our youth is interested in, and firmly believes in harmony among our African people.
