Hot! or Hmm… Nina Dobrev’s Cosmopolitan Summer Bash Julien Macdonald Fall 2013 Dress, Elie Saab Clutch, and Strappy Sandals

Before the 2013 Teen Choice Awards, Nina Dobrev stopped by the Cosmopolitan Summer Bash in a yellow embroidered mini dress with sheer panels from Julien Macdonald’s Fall 2013 collection:

She finished her ensemble with a teased ponytail, Elie Saab clutch, and $891 Strappy Sandals from the brand.

Her leather sandals feature gold-tone bars across the front, gold-tone bar detailing at the ankle straps, rear zip fastenings and 4.7″ stiletto heels.

Nigeria resident Adaku from the blog ThirdWorldProfashional.com paired a Charles Tyrwhitt mens shirt and Topshop Leigh jeans with ASOS white ankle strap pumps.


Hilary offset a BCBG skirt and a Prabal Gurung for Target shirt with white Jeffrey Campbell shoes from Nasty Gal.

University of Southern Mississippi student Brittany submitted this pic, to show us, “How the South wears white pumps.”

Jaz (Instagram @IloveJazzz) loves this section! She accessorized a black tank and slim pencil skirt with cap toe Topshop pumps.

And lastly, though these aren’t pumps, I thought this entry would qualify! Missus Monroe from the blog Soul of a Lion accented a matching Dutch Wax bustier and skirt from Forever 21 with Urban Outfitters white sandals.

Twilight star, Anna Kendrick was the first star to give Christian Louboutin’s “Just Picks” ankle strap PVC pumps its red carpet debut. The 27 year old Pitch Perfect actress arrived in the shoes at the premiere of “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Monday 14th May 2012.
She wore a nude Elie Saab Spring 2012 Couture cocktail frock and accessorized with a nude Edie Parker ‘Lara” clutch.
Barely a month later, our BN style radar spotted Olivia Munn in the same shoes. Draped in an ivory one shoulder Armani satin dress, the 32 year old American actress wore the shoes to the L.A premiere of HBO’s “The News Room” on Wednesday 20th June 2012. Olivia finished her look with wavy hair and accessorized with Neil Lane jewels, which complemented her shoes.

Last year, Nigerian songstress, Tiwa Savage cemented herself as leading style star. Donning outfits from both Nigerian and International designers, the 32 year old chanteuse is always one to watch out for. At the 2012 Complete Fashion Style Night on Saturday 23rd June 2012 at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, the “Folarin” singer rocked the same Christian Louboutin pumps.
Tiwa opted for a white dress and accessorized the heels with a silver ring,  bracelet and clutch.
At the L.A premiere of the Amazing Spiderman, Hollywood starlet, Emma Stone also rocked the shoes to the Regency Village Theatre on Thursday 28th June 2012. The 24 year old Easy A break out star, wore a white Chanel Resort 2013 short sleeve frock with red velvet Rococo embroidery on the bodice and accessorized the heels with a sleek up do with a side fringe and Cartier jewels.

To promote her movie, Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D centered around her life in Sydney, Australia, American pop sensation, Katy Perry donned the same pair of shoes on Saturday 30th June 2012. The Fireworks singer, rocked the shoes in a Versace Fall 2012 fitted bustier dress, a silver bracelet and wavy locks.
Creative head of BETH Model Management, Elohor Aisien was also seen in the shoes at the 2nd edition of the Nigerian Event Awards on Friday 24th August 2012 at the Havilah House of Events,Victoria Island, Lagos.
Elohor accessorized the heels with silver bracelets and wore a pink top and black pants.

Selena Gomez & Sophia Bush
On Saturday 22nd September 2012, American singer and actress, Selena Gomez wore the heels to the premiere of her latest flick, Hotel Transylvania at the Grove, California. The ex-girlfriend of Justin Bieber – or wait are they back together? – also stunned in a white (Versace) number like Tiwa Savage, Olivia Munn and Emma Stone. The 20 year old singer let her locks down and accessorized the dress with a silver ring.
We absolutely loved her as Brooke on CWTV’s One Tree Hill show and on Monday 10th December 2012, Sophia Bush dazzled at the 7th Annual Charity Ball Benefiting Charity: Water in the in-famous Christian Louboutin’s Just Picks pumps.
Flaunting her curves and new bangs in a short sleeve Beulah London floor length print dress with a slit, Sophia Bush accessorized the shoes with a silver Edie Parker clutch, silvery eye shadow and simple ponytail.

Hot! or Hmm..: Kim Kardashian’s Millions of Milkshakes Cut Out Dress

Kim Kardashian promoted Millions of Milkshakes in Kuwait in a form fitting long sleeve white dress equipped with sheer cut outs:


She completed her look with gold tipped white pumps and a smoky eye.


Kim has come under fire for wearing such a revealing and sultry dress in a decidedly conservative country. While I love the dress, I have to agree with the critics. Great ensemble, perhaps wrong occasion.

*We’re still searching for Kim’s dress, but have heard a lot of chatter that it might be a custom creation by Stephane Rolland. Though we can’t find her exact look on the runway, Rolland’s Spring 2012 couture collection featured gowns with similar tubular gold belts and cut outs:




Kim is a fan of Stephane Rolland designs, so wearing one of his dresses is very plausible. Stay tuned!
