Try A Trend: Colored Suits

A well-fitted suit will never go out of style. The classic ensemble used to be  strictly for the fellas, but the look has since been established as a staple in the womenswear cannon.
But if you’re sitting out on the trend because you don’t want to rock dark colors in the summer– or you’re not into the white suit, fear not! There’s another alternative: the bold, bright, and colorful suit. Rihanna recently stepped out in London sporting a red and pink-trimmed number from Acne.

The look is relatively simple to achieve: just look for a well-fitted, ultra bright jacket and trousers and voila! You’ve got an instantly chic and fresh ‘fit.

Give your suit a summer edge by cuffing your pants, or lend some unconventional flavor with a body chain. Pair your suit with sky-high pumps, or if you can’t take the discomfort, do like Riri and complete your look with brogues or loafers.
Feeling adventurous? Take a page from June Ambrose‘s book and mix and match your pieces to create a colorblocked look.
Get inspired with these separates:
So what say you, Bombers? Think you’ll try a colored suit?

Hot! or Hmm…June Ambrose’s 2012 American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala Carlos Miele Fall 2012 Gown

June Ambrose took a little time out from her styling duties to attend the 2012 American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala. She looked like the belle of the ball in a black taffeta and tulle gown from Carlos Miele’s Fall 2012 collection:

She pulled her hair up into a tousled updo with loose curls cascading her face. June accessorized with statement earrings and a metallic clutch.

Check out her dress on the Fall 2012 runway.

Fab! June looks amazing and this is the perfect look for such a glamorous event.

Perfect Sunglasses For This Season

Now, Fashionistas, while I am of the strong belief that shoes, accessories and an ovah handbag make the outfit, one thing that definitely needs to be present in the company of a stylish outfit is a pair of amazing sunglasses. The right pair can work so many wonders: as the haute-to-trot Ms. June Ambrose says they can act as a ‘camouflage’ moment, save your from awkward situations on the train and help to prevent those pesky lines from forming around your precious peepers.
So now you see, my dearest Fashionistas why need to have a pair of sunnies in your bag at all times? Especially with the summer coming up? Yes? Good. Below are options suitable for every face shape and style for you to shop:

What is your favorite style of sunglasses? Who do love they way they rock their sunnies? Doesn’t June look stunning in a pair from her own line?

5 Ways To Style A Bright Colored Blazer

Many of our fav fashionistas have incorporated a bright blazer into their wardrobes like Beyonce, June Ambrose, Lala Vazquez, Kim Kardashian and Whitney Port. It’s the PERFECT piece for transitioning through seasons (hey, we ARE almost in March) because it will keep you warm in colder temperatures and it just screams Spring!
Here are some fun ways to style your blazer:

1. Keep it simple!

You can always rock your blazer with a white t-shirt and painted leggins (and a killer pair of heels!) like Nicky  for a fun look. Chic, simple and super stylish, this look keeps the attention right where it should be: on that fabulous blazer!

2. Colorblock!

Take a cue from June Ambrose and match your bold blazer with an equally bright bottom for an attention-grabbing yet stylish look.

3. Pair it with a printed top.

Some colors and prints are simply made for each other (hello, red and leopard!) so mix the two together without fear like Lala with her cobalt blue blazer and printed tee.

4. Throw it over a bright, colorful dress.

Don’t be afraid to have an ‘in living color’ moment by pairing a bright blazer with a dress with more bold colors. Root the look with some nude or black heels and it will be surprisingly chic and Spring-ready.

5. Add some contrast with black and white separates.

Nothing makes a bright color stand out more than pairing it with white and black.

Will you add a bright blazer to your wardrobe, fashionistas? How will you style it?

Kisses :*
